Uhhh... Scawen, you think during the course of your up grading, you could make the exhausts and the fenders of the LXs paintable? Just a thought. I wanna do an LX skin and I thought it sure would be nice to paint those fenders. Is that something that's hard to do? If so, then don't worry about it. No one really uses those cars anyways. But if it's something you can just punch in a couple of digits to do.......

More cars...... Always more cars. What kind of cars? I think everybody wants more cars. But the sad fact is, they make more cars, most people will still want more or they'll be cars no one uses. Like the formula V8 or the road cars. LOL the LX4 was the car that really got my attention. I think I'm like one of five people that uses it. Then there's that mini cooper car. I tried using that one once.... I fell asleep at the wheel and wrecked from the boredom, yet all sorts of folks like it. Go figure.
So wanting more cars and then getting them might not be what you were hoping for.
I dunno. Maybe I played GTA one too many times, but I'd like to see pedestrians.

LFS - something we don't talk about

All us fan boys go on and on and on about this feature or that feature that LFS has over the other guys.
So we got better physics. I don't think that's really the best part of LFS.
Casual Racing. That's the real thing LFS has over any other title out there. The ability to just click a couple of buttons and you're in a server. Most of the other games has some sort of "ritual" you have to go through. And I think that initial thing helped set the general attitude of the players. Other racing games, I've seen people booted off just cause of a stupid mistake. Here, no one takes the game that serious.
When you do that, you've pretty much killed the fun in it and ultimately discourage people from playing.
I've seen people try to do that with LFS, but not to that degree and had more to do with racing series.
You kinda have to take that a little more serious than the average 5 lap sprint.
When LFS came out, there was another game that came out too. NASCAR 2003. I got that game....somewhere...
Before some nut case bought the rights to the game, you could get all sorts of mods for it. Well one of the reasons I never played it online was it was a hassle to initialize (especially with mods) and you couldn't just go jump into a server at will. not the mention is was full of losers that thought they were the next NASCAR God or something.
I think that the last two things I mentioned is what really killed that game more than anything else.

Damn! We got below freezing! In March! March! That's the month people from Canada and the Northern States come down and clog our freeways to the beach. What really sucks about that is this year the freeway I have to take is also a complete under construction cluster #@!!

What we ought to do is when describing how hot it is, use Celsius units.
When describing how cold it is, use Fahrenheit.
See that way it won't seem as hot or as cold to us. Think about it.
-2 celsius sounds a lot colder than what 30 degrees fahrenheit does.
and 30C sounds a lot more comfortable than 90F.
We should do that with weight too.
Like if you wanted somebody lazy to move something heavy at work. You could say,"Nah dude it only weighs 50". I don't think they'd be so willing to move something that weighed in at 120# Or you can go the other way and say, "I'm on this new diet and I've lost 50 lb.s in three weeks!".
That's way more impressive than just losing 23.
